Katie Herzberg began ringing bells in second grade. She rang for four years with the handbell ensemble at Concordia College, St. Paul, where she also studied flute and voice. Katie teaches K-6 general music at Footprints Academy in Woodbury. She directs the handbell choir and is also an administrative assistant at St. Stephanus Lutheran Church in St. Paul, where she and her husband are co-worship and music directors. Outside of ringing, she enjoys gardening, running, biking and rock climbing. She and her husband are awaiting the arrival of their newest family member in January 2009.
